Spring is no longer in the air it's HERE!

Spring time brings everything back to life after a long hard cold winter, NOT.  We didn't really have a winter did we? or at least down deep in the South we didn't....Not that I'm complaining because I'm not but usually this means that other problems will begin to show up like an excess of mosquitos, bugs, etc. that is usually determined by how hard a winter we have.

I'm just glad we can all get out and enjoy the sunshine (most days).  I for one love working in the yard, it seems it's a constant battle between the weeds and my dog who happens to be a "digger".  Again, just thankful for the pleasant weather, loving the beautiful flowers, and in general just the freshness of this time.

Take a look at two of our newest products that we introduced at the recent Birmingham Home & Garden Show.  We have always offered metal letters of various fonts, colors and embellishments, now we have a fresher design idea which includes adding a simple "scalloped" stainless steel cross in either an 8" or 12" size mounted to the letter.  What a simply "fabulous" idea don't you think......

Custom Metal Art Image

What a great picture of one of our custom metal pieces  that we made from our customer's personal photo. This piece captures the essence of the image supplied by our customer, a loving couple walking on the beach at sunset. It still amazes me how we can capture the images and cut them in metal, technology is a wonderful thing!  We just came back from our first Home & Garden Show, what a blast we had!  We enjoyed meeting each and everyone....hoping everyone will drop in our store soon to see our newest products and the great possibilities for customization.  Come see us today!

Pro Bowl Sunday!

2012 Pro Bowl Game

It's Pro Bowl Sunday!  Another season of football is officially wrapping up next Sunday with the "Super Bowl" and the college football season wrapped up earlier this month with  the University of Alabama winning their 14th National Championship over the LSU Tigers.  I'm sure my spouse will be estatic that there will be no more football on TV, at least until August.  Ok, what will we do with our time?????

Ok, even I'll admit that there is more to life than "football".....we at PD Piddles have started the year off great. We are preparing for our first Birmingham Home & Garden Show from February 16th - 19th.  We are working hard to bring our newest products to the show.  

We will also we holding a raffle to give away (4) FREE tickets for the Home & Garden show so be checking back with us weekly to enter this contest.  We hope you'll join us at the show, and look forward to seeing you soon.

It's that time of year again....literally.  Where did 2011 go?                                                            
2011 will be remembered as the year of global tragedies including the Japanese earthquakes and sunami, the death of Osama bin Laden, the trial of century of Casey Anthony, the royal wedding, the attempted assassination of a US Senator - Gabrielle Giffords and the six individuals that died, Steve Jobs losing his battle with cancer, the Joplin tornado disaster along with the the historic spring outbreak of tornado's in Alabama claiming over 240 deaths.


We are looking forward to 2012 being an unbelievable year.  We wanted to wish everyone a very "Happy New Year" !!! It is our hope that everyone will be able to realize their dreams coming true during 2012.
